Hello. It’s been a while since my last blog posts. Well today, 5 June 2008, the Petrol RM2.70 per liter and RM2.58 per liter for diesel will be effectively be the new price for car fuel in Malaysia. As far as we all can see, the rhythm of slight increase prices really caught all attentions. The high margin of RM0.78 from the previous price was shocking the whole country and we all may concern that there’s almost nothing to do to avoid.

Noktahhitam had calculated an example of monthly fuel usage and it was a really huge amount of wastage. We’re throwing money insanely. To me, this is one of our wastage and inefficiency tricks that our money being thrown away so easily, and this effects all of us, whether in public or private sector. Malaysia is now bleeding with petrols and this has been the problem for years already.

I can see fews keep comparing local petrol and diesel price with closer countries. WTH. Why? We’re the one who export fuels, we’re the one who have all of it. It’s such a lame comparison. Why not compare with Egypt, Arabic? Malaysia is decent in money I guess. It’s better for us to create our own research on how to safe money from car fuel usage. I’m pretty sure there will be more upcoming price increase. Just wait, see, and scream, Malaysian.
