These kind of phishing sites intend to “lure” you to get your personal account, login, banking informations, etc. Upon login, you’ll found yourself as a victim of phishing sites and may face the probability of losing your savings.

The usual trick done by them :

They may be showing the real-looking link, such: https://secure.maybank2u.com.my/bla/bla/bla.. but, when clicked, the actual link wasn’t as showed, instead, it rather different. The real-looking link may confuse you down to provide your information to the wrong guy. Read More.

You can read further info about the fake email at Maybank2u site. There were few fake mail samples provided so watch out everyone. Read Secret Tips To Prevent Phishing Attack.

Ps: I normally received phishing mails related to Paypal account. Luckily Paypal has given the guides of detecting the scam/phishing sites to avoid internet crime. Read more.

Pps: Yet another thing happened to me recently. I used to received miscalls from 03-28486000, a lot! I tried to Google the phone number and seems like I’m not the only one who receive the miscalls. Freak!
